Among the rights of the Qur’an is to recite it properly, keeping in mind its rules of pronunciation, also known as Tajweed.

Allah says in the Qur’an, “Those We have given the Book recite it as it should be recited.” Learning Tajweed allows us to recite the Qur’an as it was taught to Prophet Muhammad SAW by angel Jibreel.
